Intro to gardening for kids

What should you expect?

 This 1 day course will introduce your child to the skill of gardening. The session will be an introduction to the components and mechanisms of the soil as well as how to germinate and plant seeds into soil. They will have time to explore our lush rooftop garden and familiarize themselves with different plants and trees.

Snacks and water will be provided.

What to bring?

Small empty container to take seeds home.

About the instructor:

 Mayan Zawawi is a garden enthusiast, artist and a community development specialist who worked with underprivileged tribes on a permaculture site in the heart of the Arabian desert. As part of the ZeroChemia team, Mayan completed the intermediate rooftop gardening workshop and is thrilled to share her knowledge with eager enthusiasts of all ages.
